Learn wine tasting
The Little Wine Museum is the ideal starting point for learning to taste wine — whether you are a complete beginner or simply curious.
Learning through experience
Here, we don’t explain how to taste wine in a classroom. We make you live it, in vaulted cellars, with real wines.
The tour is designed to engage your senses one by one:
- Sight — observe the colour, hue and intensity
- Smell — identify aromas, recognise olfactory families
- Taste — balance, structure, length on the palate
- Terroir — understand how soil and climate shape wine
What you learn in 1 hour
- The major grape varieties and how they express themselves
- The difference between a terroir wine and a varietal wine
- How the winemaker influences the taste of the wine
- The fundamentals of tasting: colour, nose, palate
- How to talk about wine without unnecessary jargon
The final tasting
At the end of the tour, you taste independently 8 wines selected to illustrate your discoveries. Each wine is there for a reason — you leave with concrete tools to understand what you are drinking.
Your tasting glass is yours to take home.
For all levels
The tour is accessible to everyone, with no prior knowledge required. Whether you have never visited a vineyard or you belong to a tasting club, there is something to learn here.
Content is available in 7 languages: French, English, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese.
