Three participants engaged at a Wine Break evening at Le Petit Musée du Vin

What is it?

Wine without
the jargon.

Wine Break is a tasting evening held in the vaulted cellars of Le Petit Musée du Vin. Not a course, not an exam. A moment to discover what you actually feel when you drink — and why.

Each session has its own theme: a grape variety, a region, a vinous curiosity. The wines change. The vibe stays: warm, curious, no hierarchy of knowledge.

  • Short and intense format — 2 hours max
  • Carefully selected wines
  • Led by passionate hosts
  • Small group, great atmosphere

The programme

5 senses.
1 evening.

  1. Sight

Robe, colour, clarity, viscosity. What the glass reveals before you even touch it. Learn to read a wine the way you read a face.

  2. Nose

First nose, second nose, primary, secondary and tertiary aromas. An olfactory exploration — with the words to describe it.

  3. Palate

Attack, mid-palate, finish. Acidity, alcohol, bitterness. The gustatory architecture of a wine, explained simply.

  4. Tasting

We open. We taste. We talk. The session's wines — chosen for their theme — become a collective playground. You leave with keys, not rules.

For those who love wine
without the fuss.

Curious beginners. Enthusiasts who want to share. Groups of friends, colleagues, solo adventurers. Led by women, for women — and their friends. No prerequisites, just the desire to be there.
