Terms and Conditions of Sale

Article 1: Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) govern the sale of admission tickets for the tour and tasting offered by Le Petit Musée du Vin (hereinafter “the Organiser”) to its customers (hereinafter “the Customer”). The purchase of a ticket implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the establishment’s rules and regulations.

Article 2: Price and Payment

Ticket prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes. Payment is due immediately upon placing the order.

  • Single rate: The establishment does not offer a “child” rate. All visitors entering the museum, regardless of age, must have a ticket at the current rate.

Article 3: Absence of Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28 12° of the Consumer Code, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services that must be provided on a specific date or during a specific period. Consequently, all tickets purchased are final and non-refundable.

Article 4: Cancellation and Modification

In line with the establishment’s limited capacity constraints:

  1. Cancellation: Tickets cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded, even in the event of a no-show by the Customer, except in the event of cancellation of the service by the Organiser (due to force majeure or technical closure).
  2. Modification: The Customer may request a change to the date or time of their visit up to 15 calendar days before the date originally booked.
    • After this period, no changes are possible and the booking is considered final.
    • The change is subject to slot availability.

Article 5: Conduct of the Visit and Punctuality

The ticket grants access to a guided tour lasting precisely one hour (1 hour).

  1. Opening hours: The reserved time slot corresponds to the start and end times of the museum visit. The visit time begins at the first minute of the reserved hour.
  2. Delays: Customers are requested to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the time indicated on the ticket for check-in formalities.
    • Any delay on the part of the Customer will be deducted from their visit time.
    • In the event of a significant delay (more than 15 minutes), access may be refused without refund if this compromises the running of the tour for subsequent time slots.
  3. End of visit: In order to guarantee access for the next group and compliance with safety measures, visitors are required to vacate the museum space at the exact end of their one-hour time slot.

Article 6: Conditions of the Tasting

The tasting is a service that is separate from the museum visit. It can be done freely after the visit, with no strict time limit, subject to the establishment’s opening hours.

  1. Quantities included: The ticket includes a tasting package limited to a maximum quantity of 24cl per person (equivalent to 8 doses of 3cl).
  2. Supplements: Any consumption beyond this volume will be subject to additional charges according to the rates displayed at the bar/shop.
  3. Responsibility: The establishment reserves the right to refuse service to any customer showing signs of obvious intoxication, in accordance with current legislation. Alcohol abuse is hazardous to your health.

Article 7: Minors and Alcohol

Access to the Petit Musée du Vin is permitted to minors only if they are accompanied by a responsible adult with a valid ticket.

  1. Prohibition of sale: In accordance with Article L.3342-1 of the Public Health Code, the sale and offering of alcoholic beverages to minors is strictly prohibited.
  2. Verification: The establishment reserves the right to request official identification to verify the age of the visitor before serving alcohol.
  3. Substitution: For minors (holders of a single-price ticket), the wine tasting will be replaced by a non-alcoholic beverage (fruit juice).
  4. Responsibility of the accompanying adult: The accompanying adult is solely responsible for the minor. It is strictly forbidden for adults to give their own alcoholic drinks to minors to consume. If such behaviour is observed, the establishment reserves the right to interrupt the service and exclude the customers concerned, without refund, and declines all responsibility for the consequences of such an offence committed by the accompanying adult.

Article 8: Internal Regulations

The Customer undertakes to respect the premises, equipment and staff. Any inappropriate behaviour, damage or failure to comply with safety instructions will result in immediate expulsion from the establishment without refund.
